Girls Golf -Taryn Nguyen (9th grade) will be playing in the Girls Golf State Tournament and will be out from Monday November 14th through Wednesday November 16th all day. We congratulate her on the outstanding season & wish her well in the state tournament this week.

Football - We lost in the regional quarterfinals to the #1 seed Naples. We congratulate the football team on their continued success in being ranked as one of the top teams in the region each year earning a spot in the playoffs. Thanks for a great Season!

Swimming - Braden River Pirates make it 3 consecutive years with athletes earning the right to appear in the Florida High School State open Swimming Championships

After qualifying 8 athletes for the state regional championships; Sydney Koshinski overcame a shoulder injury early in the season to place in the top 16 athletes in the 50 and 100 freestyle events earning her spot at States. Congratulations to Sydney!

Volleyball - After winning back-to-back district titles, the girls volleyball team won their regional quarterfinal match. We fell in a tight fought regional semi-final match to Osceola in 5 sets. The girls had a tremendous season - congratulations!

Winter sports:

Soccer - Started regular season last week. Girls' soccer is 1-1 with a victory over Cardinal Mooney and had 2 games cancelled due to the storm. Boys' soccer is 1-0 with a 6-0 victory over Bayshore.

Basketball - Will be starting this week-the girls start their regular season play tonight, and the boys start pre-season this week.

Girl's weightlifting - We are 1-0 with a victory over Southeast. 2 meets were cancelled last week due to the storm. 1 lifter, Jada Phillips is in the top 25 in the state in her weight class.

Wrestling - Starting regular season next week.
