Wrestling:
Grady lost in the Blood Round so fell a match shy. Had a brutal weight class with 7 top 11 ranked kids in it. So that's the bad news. On the good side we had two more firsts. Three in the Finals a first and two Region Champs is a first. Matthew Ireland 106 Won Regions along with Jersey 182 and Gage took 2nd to the #1 ranked Kid in the state who in also top 10 ranked Nationally. Three to State. Finished 6th as a Team out of 34 Teams represented.
Wrestlers, Jessie Colas and Matthew Ireland are regional champs! They will move onto the state tournament later this week. Congratulations to our BRHS Wrestlers!!
Baseball-started 2-0 and off to a great start last week.
Flag Football-2-0 in the Bucs preseason tournament on Friday. They open up the regular season this week on Tuesday.
Boys weightlifting-We are 3-0 right now with this week's wins over Manatee and Palmetto.
Girls Tennis-0-4 at this point, trying to get all girls matches. Chi Chi Smarty our #1 is 3-1 record right now
Softball-0-2 start but battling with opponents.
Track-Did not compete last week. We are travelling to Naples HS for a meet Saturday.
Beach Volleyball-won their pre-season match, 4-1. Start regular season this week.
